”Our approaches are different, but we shared many messages and conversations which showed how many shared interests we have, and this fed directly into the production of our work.

I also knew that this would be more than just a split release, but a properly integrated collaborative production. A new identity for us both, and work which reflects our combined efforts and personalities.

Through destiny or luck, at the exact moment Sara contacted BHRIDB, all of the recording and sound gear was in storage

As a result and together with Sara’s guitar and vocal – formed from her beautifully thought out lyrics and poetic imagination, we also generated sounds using an App called VOSIS.

This tool is unique in that it scans image information, from either a picture or video sequences, to control sound parameters. This results in not only producing new sound files, but also a visual element which is connected and intertwined with them.

The process of working together has been a rewarding, combined effort, necessitating us to work in unfamiliar and different ways to which we are accustomed.” - Black Hair Rolled In Dried Blood
